Annie Wallace – 1871-1945

Birth

John Robert Linder was the second child of William Linder and Charlotte Randall. From the wee Bible of his sister-in-law, Emily Walker Linder, John was born on May 13, 1865 and he was also known as Jack. The marriage of his daughter Grace records that he was born in Elmira, which is to be expected. The Census of 1871 lists John at age 5 living with the family in Elmira. In 1881 John is still at home and working as a Farm Labourer, his father having died earlier in the year.
